VMware Solutions Exchagen vCOps plugins

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the price list for the vCOps plugins and management packs listed at VMware Solutions Exchange?

I tried to create an account but I haven't received any feedback yet...

Thanks.

There are VMware-developed adapters, and there are partner-developed adapters. The generally available VMware-developed adapters are free (at this point) except for V4V. These VMware adapters are licensed/throttled by the edition of vC Ops you're using. The partner-developed adapters can be free, or may have a fee/licensing structure attached, e.x. EMC Storage Analytics. Partners can handle their licensing however they like, which means they may have a different mechanism/criteria for charging when compared to VMware's free adapters. Enforcement of licensing can also vary by adapter architecture (push vs pull, or external vs embedded).

I was able to download all of them without an account. I clicked on the link you provided. Then it took me to the page full of management packs. I clicked on each pack and it said Try and once i clicked on it the PAK file for the pack was downloaded. This does not require you to pay.

Yes, indeed. Most of the management packs can be downloaded for  free but some require registration ans some take you to the OEM website.

I'm wondering why I cannot create an account on this website.

Thanks.
