VM unexpected high CPU workload

what is mean "does not have symptom Virtual machine is powered off" under What is Causing the Issue?

Greetings!

"Virtual machine is power off" is a symptom definition in vROps. It is negated in the alert definition "Virtual Machine has unexpected high CPU workload". Negate symptom means the symptom will trigger when there is absence of symptom condition.

As the symptom "Virtual machine is power off" is negated, the condition is met when the VM is NOT in powered off state (The opposite of the symptom condition).

In this case, your VM is NOT in powered off state. Hence, you are seeing this symptom.

Here is a screenshot showing that "Virtual machine is power off" symptom is negated in alert definition "Virtual Machine has unexpected high CPU workload"
