It would be nice if this could be updated independently, but I'm pretty sure you have to wait for the next release. All of the compliance checks are implemented as symptoms and alerts. I haven't compared the 6.0 and 6.5 guides, but it might be possible to implement some or most of the changes by creating new symptoms and alerts or cloning and adjusting the existing ones.
