Using vrops v7 and am trying to understand what measurements are used to create the below screen.
In this example is for an RDS server that is used during business hours. Out of hours the VM is quiet so i'm trying to understand what makes up this view.
I've had a hunt in the online manual but can't find anything.
Any links or details would be greatly appreciated.
Workload measures how hard an object must work for resources. Resources include CPU, memory,
disk I/O, or network I/O. Workload is a measurement that calculates the demand for a resource
divided by the capacity of an object
Thanks for the reply.
Does this article look right as far as defining what all the metrics that contribute to workload?
Where i'm heading with this is being able to identify which metric(s) are causing the red.
BryanTabbNZ I have never really understood the inner working is this chart either until I stumbled upon the attached video and blog post... it is DEF worth a watch, he explains how the hourly slots work and how its all calculated using the stress value.
