Supermetric for Datatore-CustomGroups

Hi all,

is it possible, to write Supermetrics for a set of Datastores ( in a Custom Group ) ?

We have several Datastores, which are hosted on the same NAS-System. In Aria Operations, we have Metrics for Capacity , Usage and Overprivisioning for each Datastore, but is it possible, to create Supermetrics for a set of Datastores ?

" Capacity of all Datastores in Datastore-CustomGroup1"

"Usage of all Datastores in Datastore-CustomGroup1"

"Overprovisioning of all Datastores in Datastore-CustomGroup1"

Is that possible ? And how ?

Thx in advance

Try something like:

Create a custom group for each subset of datastores. (use group type environment)

Create a super metric based on:

Object Types: Environment
Function: Sum

Object Type: Datastore

Metric: Capacity|Available Space (GB)

Do a preview and select the created custom group.

You can assign the super metric to specific policies. So if the datastores are part of different policies then you can get away with it.
