Re: Database Connection in vC Ops

Hello Guys,

How are you?

I want to know how can i connect to the database of the vcops using the browser. I am sure i have connected before couple times. I lost the link and i am unable t connect now. The link will be something like http:\\vcops<ip.address>\data.......

Please let me know if anybody have the link

I haven't played with it.

Have you checked the admin guide: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vcops-56-custom-ui-admin-guide.pdf

my question is does this way of configuring the repository adapter works for the vApp??If you see page 143 the starting of the repository adapter is shown in only wndows and linux machines. My concern is what about the vApp Configuration??

It's on the Analytics VM - look in the path...

usr/lib/vmware-vcops/tools/RepositoryAdapter

I got the repository adapter and founded the conf.properties file. how can i open and edit the conf.properties file??

I use VI or the editor feature in WinSCP.
