Hi,
I'm getting "Objects are not receiving data from adapter instance"-alerts on the Horizon adapter after upgrading to vROps 8.6.
The resources involved are "Horizon User"-objects.
The alert is only triggered on inactive/offline users. When a user logs in, the collection from the object returnes to a normal state.
It seems like normal behaviour that inactive objects doesn't provide any updates to metrics and properties.
It's strange that inactivity in Horion User objects should generate an alert.
Is this a bug?
vROps version: 8.6
Horizon Adapter version: 1.2.1.0
Had this in 8.4 also. Workaround is to create a policy for the Horizon Connection server and disable the alert definition in that policy. Which we didn't do btw.
Also getting this even after MP4H to 2.0 i've raised it with support/ TAM since I would prefer to know if there is any genuine issues with user session collection.
Hi ,
We have the same version or vROPS and HZ adapter , And VMware recommended to disable this alert for now as this issue is fixed on next version on MP4H(Management Pack for Horizon) version .
