hi ,
How to acknowledge or reset the triggered events in below scenario with vcops.
example:
I have removed the some VMFS volumes from ESX server. Then vcops shows ESX server health status will be in RED,because of removing Disks from ESX server. How to reset these kind of alerts.

Hi,
You do not have the option of clear/acknowledge of the alter in the vCops
You only get the below option for the alert admin
Take Ownership of an Alert - Users can take ownership of alerts in the Alerts list.
Release Ownership of an Alert - If you are no longer responsible for an alert or want to let other users take ownership of that alert, you must release the ownership.
Suppress an Alert - You can hide an alert from the Alerts list for a specific number of days.
Suspend an Alert - You can hide an alert from the Alerts list for a specific number of minutes.
Cancel a Fault Alert - You can deactivate fault alerts if they are no longer valid.
Hence your alert/ Value is will be release when the values are refreshed on each data collection cycle

Hi,
When the persistence process get complete , Refresh the view or generate a new report. The time to wait depends on the size of your environment,
By Default
vCenter Operations Manager uses the default time window for trend views and the interval setting for non-trend views. To apply the following settings Go to Summary, Views & Reports section of the Configuration dialog box.
For trend views, Default Interval is Daily and the default time window is 4 Intervals.
For non-trend views, the Interval to use is Monthly and the Number of intervals to use is 2 Intervals.
