Re-Configure Virtual Machine message appears continuously in Recent Tasks of our vsphere cluster. This is a Vmware view desktop environment and message appears every 15-30 min time for a given VM. Reconfigure message triggers for a complete VDI pool when it appears. vmware.log for a VM shows below entries,

When we stop the VROPS broker services for vcenter servers and view adapter, the message stops. We have two VROPs servers and two vcenter servers and two view connection servers.
Need to find what triggers these reconfigure messages and why,
Thanks.
Hi,
same here.
Anything new to that issue? Seems not that it is an performance impact, but it is rely annoying.
We opened an SR and the support pointed us towards some firewall rules...
i'll give an update as soon as i got something new.
regards
Robert
Hi,
it seems that we fixed our isssue. Here is what we did:
1) Create offline Snapshots of the connection brokers
2) uninstall (vrops-)Broker Agents from the connection Server
3) Remove folder C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenter Operations for View\conf from every connection server (if present)
4) open HKLM\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\Node Manager\VCOps and remove Server URL (if present)
5) test if the reconfigure Tasks are sill happening
6) Use http://i/pubs.vmware.com/v4h62/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vrealize.horizon.install.doc%2FGUID-3D0... to check the Firewall-Config on the Appliance.
7) Reinstall vROPs Broker Agents on the connection broker
😎 Configure Broker Agents
9) Test the enviroment.
an so far the task didn't appear again.
hope that helps
Regards
Robert
