Aria Operations launch on context

Aria Operations 8.12.1 (21952151)

when adding the Aria for log - there were no errors. did not ask for certificate validation. Aria Operations and Aria for log are signed by internal CA.

errors in Aria Operations

1) com.vmware.vcops.bridge.server.OpsLogsManager.retrieveLogInsightConnectionInfo - Trusted certificates are not found for Operations for Logs adapter instance

2) com.vmware.vcops.bridge.server.BridgeTracerAspect.processBridgeResult - Could not establish connection with Log Insight.

tried adding the certificate manually in Administration -> Certificate but cert added in “CERTIFICATE_AUTHORITY",  not in "ADAPTER_INSTANCE"

I already saw and added a new integration

what i need to to use aria for log from aria operation?

Certificate Authority means you are adding the cert of your CA. Have you created one large PEM containing the full chain?

Try adding the Aria Ops 4 Logs using its IP (or FQDN is you tried IP already) and see if you get a cert pop up.

If you have internal cert authority certs in certificates, remove them.  Re-validate the log insight adapter, it should prompt you for the cert to accept.  Re-add cert authority certs.  Or install HF2 - VMware Aria Operations 8.12 Hot Fix 2 (93416)
