Yes, Log Insight will work with any unstructured data sent over the syslog protocol. Cisco devices support sending logs to a remote syslog destination like Log Insight.

Hi,

Yes you can log from any cisco device using this commands from CLI :

logging trap warnings

logging facility local0

logging ip-address-loginsight-server

with the above settings, I am logging a cisco 3750 to Log Insight

from cli you can specify other trap levels, facility levels,....
