We are trying to create a query (and subsequent alert) for any cross-vCenter VM migrations. When I run a test and search for the VM name I just migrated, hundreds of vMotion events come up, but none of them obviously identify that the action was between two vCenters, not just a regular vmotion that doesn't cross a vcenter boundary.
Anyone know how to search for this, or what event might identify a cross vcenter migration?? thanks.
