LogInsight 4.5 fails to install on Vsphere 6.5 latest version

Just tried installing LogInsight 4.5 onto a vSphere 6.5 host (patched to latest build). The install fails - error message relates to fschk of sda2 disk. The same OVA installs fine on vSphere 6.0. Is this a known bug? Any advice very welcome.

It looks like a new issue.

What is the LI build number? Could you provide access to the logs?

The VSphere build is: VMware ESXi, 6.5.0, 6765664

The Log-Insight Appliance build is: VMware-vRealize-Log-Insight-4.5.0-5654101.ova

I'm not sure how to collect the logs sorry. Do you mean logs on the relevant esxi host?

In order for us to start the investigation of the issue that you hit, we are going to need a support request to be filed. Please do the following:

1. Open a Support Request with GSS at VMware - How to File a Support Request Online

2. Describe their symptoms in the SR.

3. Include a link to the communities thread in the SR.
