Log Insight 8.6.2 - time period bug?

We are using Log Insight 8.6.2. (8.6.2-19092412) and the time period for alerts seem to have a bug.

No matter what time period for the trigger conditions I choose after intially the first and second run of the check differ in time according to the specified time period however after that the check runs every minute (so seems to switch to "real time") and the alerts/notifications it delivers are also for the last minute. The check however is "suspended" for the specified time period - so you'll be missing the time period minus 1 minute.

This seems to occur for new alerts as well as existing alerts I change. Non-changed existing alerts seem to be running fine.

Anyone else noticed this?

VMware has confirmed this is a bug and they are going to fix it "in the new version" ... we are on 8.8.2. now but the bug still exists so I'm guessing it is fixed in 9.x?!?

It is causes some issues here (as our recent alerts fire every minute thus causing a flood of alerts sometimes).
