Hi
I just upgraded our vRealize Log Insight server from 8.6 to 8.10. Following this, I used the steps in https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Log-Insight/8.10/com.vmware.log-insight.administration.doc/GUID-... to create a new self-signed certificate and upload it to the vRealize Log Insight server; I can see (looking at the cert presented to my Chrome browser) that this operation was successful.
But now I'm getting an email from the Log Insight server:
"This alert is about your Log Insight installation on https://abc.com
vCenter auto-configuration failed triggered at 2023-04-10T17:28:05.431Z
vCenter task auto-configuration failed for the following hosts:
xxx.com
yyy.com
zzz.com
{"key":"com.vmware.loginsight.vsphere.config.VimVsphereConfigurer.cannotConnect","params":[]}
This message was generated by your Log Insight installation, visit the Documentation Center for more information."
I'm assuming that this issue was caused by my update to the Log Insight server certificate. But I can't find any documentation that tells me what to do about it.
Thanks for the help!

Hello ,
Can you reconfigure the authentication for that specific vCenter , use the administrator@vsphere.local account .
Regards
Harry
Hi Harry - thanks for the suggestion. I've searched the Log Insight 8.10 interface, but can't find anyplace to do this. Pointer, please! Thanks.
This must be because of the Log Insight certificate was updated and there could be a mismatch between the one stored in vCenter. Just go to Log Insight and input the credentials on the endpoint again, then accept the certificate.
Ah! I found something useful in 'Integration'. So I re-added the password, accepted the new vCenter Server certificate, clicked Save, and now I see that vSphere in a Collecting state. Thanks for the help!
