how to create blueprint without cloud machine resource?

Hi !

I have integrated ansible opensouce, awx into our vRA environment. Creating blueprints that include virtual machine and ansible resources is pretty easy for us.

But now I have a need to create blueprints that are ansible playbooks and do not want to create more virtual machines because we want to use vRA to allocate other resources (besides vmware).

I would like to ask if there is a way to declare such blueprints.

According to our research we know there is a vRO that can do this but we don't want to use VRO for this yet.

Thank you guys,

Should be working by just adding Ansible to the canvas (have not tried):

Thank you

I think you haven't tried it so I don't know if it works or not.

In the image you sent, line 7 needs to be declared as a host parameter. So this is not feasible.

This vmware product presents as XaaS (anything as a service) but appears to be advertising. We used VRA and found it very difficult. Whereas with AWX or ansible tower, handling this problem is very easy.
