we are trying to launch a workflow that copy a file from vCO appliance to a Windows VM and fail with this error:

• org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException: Connection to https://xxx.yy.z.ggg:443 refused (Workflow:Copy file from vCO to guest / Scriptable task (item1)#12)

where xxx.yy.z.ggg is management IP of ESXI host where is Windows VM

In event log we see this message:

Guest operation Initiate File Transfer to guest performed on virtual machine XXX

Can you check that the vCO server has access to the ESX host via port 443?

That error usually occurs if a firewall is between vCO and ESXi host.

hm you are right, that connection is not mentioned in the port list.

But it is needed anyway. Can you check if it works when you open that port in the firewall?
