Package export/import or LCM, imho.

hmm, just checked it and LCM filters endpoints based on version, so 7.x -> 8.x is marked as incompatible path. So you left with the package export/import method (or via API but that would require custom development).
Is it also available in vRO 8.2?
If you want to clone the entire vRO from 7.6 to 8.3, you simply use "vro-migrate" on the 8.3 appliance.
Log in to the 8.3 appliance, enter vro-migrate, enter the vro 7.6 login information, and you're done.
