Workflow run log display issue

Have anyone noticed this? I have noticed on vCO 5.5, log of only the last successful workflow run is being displayed correctly. If you click on previous successful workflow run, display would not change. Failed workflow runs has no issue displaying the correct logs.  The only way to display those logs correctly is to go click on Events, go to another workflow run, then go back to previous workflow run, click Schema, then Logs. There are some cases I want to be able to look at the logs of the previous successful workflow run like copying information.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to vCO ! The behavior you describe is expected and frequently discussed. The logs tab is for the information within workflows generated when using System.log("some text here"); The information is available in the logs tab ONLY when you run the workflow with the vCO client open. When you close the client, then open it back up the logs tab of all workflow executions is empty. This information also gets put into the /app-server/server/vmo/log/server.log file of your vCO server. This is the non-persistent logging method.

For persistent logging, we use Server.log("some text here"); and this will show on the "Events" tab of your workflow execution - even when closed and re-opened Smiley Happy
