WF stops beofre sysprep runs

Hello, I have been working on modifying the 'Clone, Windows sysprep with single NIC and credential' WF.  I added some changes to the of the VM that gets created so that it is in the format of 'company - vmname'  and the guest OS is called vmname.  looking at the variables that are shown during the debugging this appears to work, but the WF stops at 'vim3WaitDnsNameInTo' and VM no longer runs sysprep.  how can I get additional info on what is causing the WF to stop/pause?    The windows logs are empty.
