In the vCO 5.5.1 Documentation it says that "You can perform an in-place update to version 5.5.x only of Orchestrator Appliance 5.5". However it doesn't say how this can be accomplished. I have many vco 5.5 servers that I would like to upgrade to 5.5.1 but don't want to redeploy the appliance to all of them if I can just do an "in-place upgrade" as the documentation states. Has anyone done this before or has instructions on how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the communities,
go to https://<IP-or-FQDN-of-your-vco-appliance>:5480
log in and go to the update tab.
You can search for updates here and install it.
If your appliance has no internet connection, you can configure a proxy in the network settings, or use a CD-ROM update (download the offline update ISO from VMware and mount it to the appliance)
Tim
Thanks Tim,
Don't know how I missed this
Is there a way to upgrade to 5.5.2.1 using the in-place upgrade method via port 5480, without upgrading all the way to 6.0.1.0? my vCO appliance is at 5.5.1, and I'd like to upgrade it up to 5.5.2.1, but not jump all the way to 6.0.1.0.
You can download the specific version you want to have as .iso image from VMware Download page, then change the configuration of the update tool to use CDROM (after mounting the iso to your appliance).
