The vmware vcenter orchestrator server service on local computer started and then stopped

Hi

I am unable to start vco server service on Windows 2008 R2 machine. If i try restarting the service it shows the following error;

"The vmware vcenter orchestrator server service on local computer started and then stopped.Some services stop automatically when not in use by other services or programs".

Can anyone give me the solution for this?

Thanks

Radhika

First check the vCO configuration application and check that everything has green lights. If not the case fix what is wrong.

If everything is green check the server.log file and look for FATAL / ERROR.

I am unable to open the vco configuration page even if the vco configuration service is started. I am unable to understand the log file. I have attached the server.log file. It would be great if you look into it and tell me the solution.

Thanks

It seems your vCO server is timing out when trying to connect to the vCO database.

I am not sure. It never happened to me. You can always check the jetty log files that are in the configuration / jetty dir.
