Sample workflow that allows for multiple datastores

I understand that there are no out-of-the box workflows that handle assigning multiple datastores. Can someone share an example of how to do this? I am trying to use one of the canned workflows to create vms using templates.

what do you mean with "assign multiple datastores"?

When you create a VM from scratch, or when you deploy a VM from a template, you specify one target datastore the new VM is created.

If you are talking about separating different disks of the template to different datastores: Not sure if that is even possible within one call (it might be).

Use Onyx to figure out the proper calls...

Cheers,

Our VMs have different datastores assigned. So yes, I need to be able to create a new VM and assigned it different datastores. This is something I can do today from GUI when I deploy VM from Template.
