Provisioning new host and configuring licensing

Hi,

I'm currently working on a workflow that is provisioning new ESXi host and attaching it to the vcenter. I stuck at the point when I want to attach the ESXi license to my new host.

I was hoping to use HostSystem.configManager.licenseManager scripting object and its properties for this.Unfortunately it turns out the licenseManager property of my configManager object is null and I can't use this method. Does anyone have a workaround for this or has a workflow object that was tested maybe? Does anyone know why this might happen?

I use vCenter Orchestrator 5.1.2

Thanks,

K

Could be the inventory service... Turn of using it and give it a try: Re: vCO 5.5.1 & vCenter 5.5.1 - Datastore accessible:false, not showing freespace and capacity, ...

Thanks for the reply. I will test it tomorrow and will let you know if that was the solution.

Unfortunately that didn't help. The licenseManager property still has null value.

Thanks,
