Provision vCloud org, vcd and network using VCO

Hi,

In earlier versions of the vCloud plugin there was a workflow to provision a new organisation using default settings, is there a simlar workflow for vCloud 5.1?

I tried to build one myself but got errors on wrong object type when trying to provision resources to the organisation, creating the organisation and users is no problem, but the resources is driving me nuts.

Do anyone have a example workflow or know where i can find one?

br

Andreas

Iy you look at the workflow you can see that the second action uses the same cpu input for allocated & limit.

If you need different values to be set then you should duplicate the workflow and modify it to add a new input.

You may also want to report this to GSS as a bug so it can be corrected in the next update of the plug-in.

The "Add an Organization" workflow should be similar to what you have in the vCD UI.

Do you have issues using this workflow ?

Thx for the answer!

The "Add an organization" workflow works like a charm, so does the "Add user" workflow to, but when i try to use the "Add vCD" workflow to add resources to the Organization i cannot run the workflow, and i can't figure out what parameters that is wrong.

You certainly mean "Add a VDC" (wrongly spelled "Add a vDC").

Are you failing to fill one of the mandatory step or is the workflow failing once you submit it ? If so what is the error message ?

Ofcouse, I meant VDC.

I solved my first issue, and can now provision an Organisation with a user and VCD, but i can't find the value to use when setting the Maximum amout of CPU an organization can use, do you know what name that value have in the "Add a VDC" workflow?

as per now it is always set to 1 Ghz

The input is called cpu and is a number (cpu in Mhz, 1000 is the default).
