Migrate VM to new network / dvswitch / vXLAN

We have a bunch of VMs on one cluster that we want to migrate to a new cluster.  But the kicker is that the storage is shared between the two clusters, but from a different network mount point on our NSX hosts.

Our manual process is to

  1. Fetch Next available IP from Network
  2. Reconfigure network in VM OS
  3. Shutdown VM
  4. Detach disks from old network path
  5. migrate VM to new cluster and network to new vxlan vxw-vds-sid)
  6. add disks back in order from new network path
  7. Power on VM

I have Infoblox vRO plugin for allocating next available and removing old IP for task 1. 3, 5 & 7 is easy enough to figure out.

Does anyone have an idea on what workflows from vRO could cover tasks 2, 4, and 6?
