Hi,
I want to configure vCD in VCO, but I am facing error. I am trying through vCO configuration.
I am getting error https://10.99.133.212:443, Login failed with username 'administrator'. And the error description is : 'API version information failed to be obtained for host https://10.99.133.212:443 (administrator@System)!'.
Following are the inputs that I provide:
Host: 10.99.133.212
organization: System
Authentication: basic
Session: Shared
and username/password.
What could be the error here? My vCO has IP address 10.99.129.33. And I have imported the vCD SSL certificate also.
Regards,
Shubhada
You must first remove the newer plug-in ....
VMware KB: Uninstalling a plug-in from VMware vCenter Orchestrator
Be sure that you use step 6.3 in that KB article to delete the content of the package as well. To confirm the workflows/actions were removed, check to make sure the following workflow category (and all children of it) no longer exist:
/Library/vCloud Director
And all the associated Action modules should be gone as well:
com.vmware.library.vCloud.*
Once you've completed all the steps of the KB, install the 5.1 version of the plugin, configure it and restart the vCenter Orchestrator Server service one more time to complete the installation.
what version vcd plugin / vcd environment are you using.
Hi,
I have vCO and vCO plugin version 5.5, while vCD version is 5.1.
Can vCO 5.5 support vCD version 5.1?
We have a vCD 5.1 plug-in for vCO 5.5 posted on the Documents tab of this community:o11nplugin-vcloud-5.1-567.vmoapp . If your vCD is 5.1, then you should use that plug-in. When specifying the username, specify as "administrator" -- do not add the @SYSTEM as that is done automatically within the plugin when you specify "SYSTEM" as the organization.
Thanks.
I tried to install the above plugin. But getting error saying 'Installation corrupted (bad plug-in version)' .
