How to Access extended Java Classes in vRO 8.4

I want to access the Java classes as mentioned in vmware article Access Java Classes inside vRO

So, I created a text file inside /data/vco/usr/lib/telus/vco with name = new_conf and content = java.net.* java.lang.*

See screenshot where I updated the system  properties in Control Center.

However, I am getting errors for

any module with ch.dunes.* is failing saying "ch not define"
in case of java.lang.* it is recognizing things
but functions are not working with error "its not a function, its a object"

Is there any workaround or Am i doing it wrong?

The docs writes:

Save the configuration file in a subdirectory of /data/vco/usr/lib/vco.
Note: The configuration file cannot be saved under another directory.
So try to place it in the directory instructed.

Sorry. that was typo.

So, I have tried both data/vco/usr/lib/vco/new_conf & data/vco/usr/lib/vco/telus/new_conf where new_conf is the file.
