Error upgrading VMware Tools.

Hi,

I'm deploying 6 virtual machines and I'm upgrading vmware tools. In Linux SO there are no problems but in Windows i get an error :

Error in (Dynamic Script Module name : vim3WaitTaskEnd#20) Task 'UpgradeTools_Task' error: Error upgrading VMware Tools.

I tried with "/a" installer options, with "/S /v"/qn REBOOT=R"  " and with no installer options.

Also I tried with upgrade tools at next reboot workflow and it does not work either.

What can i do?

Thanks!

This is a rather generic error that does not give enough information. Could you check the recent *.log files created on the target Windows VM for more details?

Not sure about what are the exact names/locations of the log files, so I'd suggest to search for all *.log files on drive C: and check the most recent ones. They are likely to be located somewhere under C:\Windows\Temp\ folder.
