Adding Session ID to HTTP-REST Request Header

Does anyone know how I may obtain the HTTP session ID and add that session ID to the "auth" section of the request header for operations using the HTTP-REST plug-in? The appliance I'm working with requires this session ID. I've examined the REST:RESTHost object class and, so far, have come up empty handed.

Do you have the "Invoke a REST operation with Header" workflow?? This provides an example of how to set headers for REST calls.. I'm unsure about the Session ID, but shouldn't that be available after you do your initial Login or GET request from the service reply?
