AMQP - Receive vAPP Object

Hi,

I'm using the AMQP plugin in order to set a blocking task.

The blocking task is intainted after the "instantiate vApp from template" task.

I'm trying now to receive the vApp object after the blocking task has intiated my workfolow.

Has anynone tried to retreive this object in this method and can share it?

Thanks!

Max.

Save yourself a ton of heartache and just use the Notifications package. It can be found here in the communities - just go to the "Documents" link Smiley Happy That package will get the object and a whole lot more.

Hi,

thanks alot for you help.

This package does the job and I'm able to retreive the vapp object.

Unfortunately each time I'm running the blocking task, the workflow run's five times automaticly.

Have you ever encountered this issue?

Thanks.

I have not seen it run numerous times for a single blocking task. I HAVE seen numerous blocking tasks sitting in the queue get built up and then pulled via the policy and kick off numerous workflows (each for a different blocking task though.)

Please check the routing key in the workflow logs. You may have created a routing key that applies for a specific blocking task but not for a specific event type. There are multiple events for a single blocking task. Check this video at 9 min 40 s : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXg2GmPGRW0
