vcac identity appliance "check updates' greyed out

I went to run a "check updates" on my vcac appliance and I forgot to set my proxy. I hit it and now it and "install updates" are both greyed out. I've rebooted and shut it down several times. Every time it comes up they're both still greyed out. Any ideas?

FYI if anyone has the same issue. Support told me to do the following and it worked:

Add cd-rom to appliance, attach appliance update .iso from vmware, change update settings to "check for updates" and set the time to sometime in the near future, like the next hour. When the update runs it'll ungrey the options.
