Hi,
I hit this error whenever I try to request a catalog item "vRealize Orchestrator workflow WFStubBuildingMachine failed with error: You must have at least one properly configured vRealize Orchestrator endpoint that is reachable"
When I test the connection Administration->Vro Configuration-> Server Configuration-> test connection
I get a "Successfully connected to the Orchestrator server." message.
But whenever I do a "Data Collection" on the end-point, it fails.
Any suggestions as to how to go about it?
Thanks.
The simple answer... you're looking in the wrong place
Where you've checked is for the configured vRO instance that should be used for XaaS. This is different to the endpoint used for workflows as part of the lifecycle. For that, you need to configure a vRO endpoint under Infrastructure > Endpoints. If you're using the internal instance, it should be https://vra.fqdn/vco (no 8281 anymore).
I know, confusing.

Hi Grant,
I'm using vRA 7 and an External instance of vRO 7. In our environment not using adding the port 8281 causes the endpoint not to function and data collection to fail. I still need therefore to add 8281 in the string as per the below!
https://vROServerFullyQualified:8281/vco
Not sure what could be different for us!
Cheers
Yeah, external still uses 8281. The difference with the internal one is that HAProxy is used, so it's listening on 443.
I've replied to your other thread.

Thanks Grant, solved the issue
