vCAC6.0:how to delete Inactive Catalog Item

Hello,

I am struggling to cleanup inactive non-existing catalog item which are still present in Catalog Item List. i had un-mapped those Catalog Item from Entitlements and Services but still those are present in Catalog item listings.

I am not getting any delete option from the action menu for inactive Catalog item, please let me find a way to clean it up.

Mark the catalog item as inactive.

You will not be able to delete it. You can only make it inactive.

I'm not sure if un publish will help. Will have to check this in my lab in the meantime.

Those Catalog items are already marked Inactive but their corresponding Blueprints are already removed.. so this is just a stale entry in the DB i believe which needs to be cleaned up but in IAAS SQL i could not locate any table for this not sure about PostgesSQL

do you have any idea about cleaning in PostgreSQL?

The CAFE catalog items are stored in the Postgres database on the vCAC Appliance, not within IaaS. I find it a lot more sketchy having to touch the Postgres db than the SQL one (even though, in general, I don't want to make any sort of queries / cleanup ops direct on a database as a matter of principle), so my recommendation would be to open an SR and work with support. They should be able to assist in a way that isn't completely unsupported. Smiley Happy
