after installed vCAC6.1 and try to use administrator@vsphere.local to login to vcac console, error code n8Uml+cW happen.

Hi Experts,


I just intall and configed vCAC6.1,but when try to login to vcac console by administrator@vsphere.local.

below error happen.

"Login failed. Please contact your System Administrator and report error code n8Uml+cW."

Can anybody help to confirm what i need to do?

What SSO are you connecting to?

vCenter SSO or have you deployed the vCAC Identity appliance?

you should be able to find the specific error by looking for that error code (n8Uml+cW) in the "/var/log/vmware/vcac/catalona.out" logfile on your vRA appliance(s)

In the catalina.out log for vRA (/var/log/vmware/vcac/catalina.out) you'll be able to find the error code. Can you paste the vmware-sts-idmd.log from the same time frame the error occurred? In the ID VA it's /var/log/vmware/sso/vmware-sts-idmd.log and for vCenter SSO you can find it here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=203343...
