My Reservation in Infrastructure is not being shown(option of vsphere) for Business Group while Compute Resources are being shown.
In the first screenshot only azure option is shown but vsphere is not.
In the second screenshot.
when i go in compute resources and try to make New Reservation. This error appears.
You probably have an issue with your IaaS hosts. Look at the log under the Infrastructure, Monitoring tab and see what error it shows.
@daphnissov In the Logs No Error/Warning is shown
What version of vRA and build number?
@daphnissov sorry for late reply because of Holidays.
My vRA version is 7.2 and from where i check the Build Number ?
Post your IaaS configuration and describe your setup. What type of license are you using? You've got something wrong in how your environment is working.
First today when i turn on my vRealize Appliance the Error of Manager Servise in show which is not coming before this.
Second License of the vRealize which i am using is:
License Type vRA Standalone License
Product Name VMware vRealize Automation Advanced
Product Version 7.0
Suite Name
Product Family VMware vCloud Automation Center
Licensable Capacity
License Key XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Expires 2017-10-20
Third my environemnet look like this.
Physical Server1 (KLOUD):
1. O.S: Window server 2012 R2
2. Deploy the vCenter 5.5
3. SQL Server Kloud/VIM_SQLEXP (Deployed during Installation of the vCenter)
4. Install Proxy Agent of the vRealize for vCenter.
Physical Server2 (Node1):
1. OS: ESXi 5.5
2. Deployed vRealize Appliacne
3. Deployed the Virtual Machine (IaaS vRA)
Specification (2cpu, 8GB RAM, 50GB Hard)
O.S: Window Server 2012 R2
Install the vCAC-IaaSManagementAgent
Install Java 8
vRealize Working:
vRealize using the SQLServer and vCenter from the Phsical Server1/Kloud.
Other Services like (IIS and DEM Server) using from the VM which is in Physical Server2 (Node1)
Attachments:
1. Diagram of the Environment.
2. Configuration of DTC in both physical server (which are Same on both).
3. vRealize License
4. Today in the Logs the Error of the Manager Services is shown (Before this it is not shown).
Those errors mean you're having MSDTC failures between manager and SQL. Check and make sure on the SQL server side that the settings are the same as the manager side, that there is no blocked communication, and that the service is started and enabled.
daphnissov I have solved MSDTC error and no error of manager services is shown in vrealize logs but the initial problem still exists.
Problem is this when i go to create reservation for business group no option of vcenter is shown. It only shows the Azuru option for creating reservation. While in the endpoints all my resources are shown.
So i am unable to create reservation.
Screenshots are already attached in my very first post.
Thanks.
1.) Reboot your Windows IaaS box if you haven't done so already.
2.) Take a screenshot of the vRA appliance from the VAMI interface, Service tab. Show all services and their status.
3.) Take a screenshot of Infrastructure -> Monitoring -> Log that shows the latest messages.
4.) Take a screenshot of the Add/Remove Programs window on the Windows IaaS box that shows all installed applications and their version numbers.
daphnissov I am sending you to the attachments of screenshot which you ask.
In this only one time error of the Manager service is appeared when we start the vRealize Appliance but it resolved after this. you can see in the time that in last 20 min no error shown.
All the services are not visible there. Do any not show as REGISTERED?
I have no common time reference point, so I don't know whether those errors are ongoing or not. I can see that you're not using a domain service account, and you need to be. Your IaaS host needs to be domain joined and services run as a vRA service account which is used to connect to the MS SQL database.
Remove all instances of Java aside from the 64-bit latest build of 8. Check the docs to make sure JAVA_HOME is set correctly.
