Not able get cloud-init working with ubuntu 20.x using vRA 8.5

Hi ,

i am unable to build a template that can be used to run the cloudconfig commands from cloud Assembly, I tried to follow all VMware docs but i think i am missing some fundamental thing that is not mentioned in the documentation. 

any pointers to easy to follow steps guide which i can use to build my first ubuntu template with CloudConfig/Cloud-init will be highly appricated.

Did you tried from the basics?

I would try with an Ubuntu cloud image, and a template with cloud init and Dynamic IP.

thanks for the link but i gave on cloud-init and choose to run with ABX which is better approach for me to install/configure software.
