Create workflow for a New Blueprint

I tried to create a blueprint with create action in the build information tab and assigned the Basic VMWorkflow, but after saving it, the blueprint was not available from the self service portal. I could see the blueprint from the self service portal but could not click it to provision a VM. I later modified the create action to clone, after which the link was hilighted and I could access it for provisioning.

What could be the reason for my link not working for create action and its respective workflows?

This typically happens when a Blueprint is assigned to a group, but the group does have a reservation, or a reservation for the type of blueprint that is tryign to be provisioned.  Make sure the blueprint is for type vCetner if that is what you are provisioning against and ensure that the group has a virutal(vCenter) reservation.

Thanks,

Sid

Sid,

In our case the Blueprint is asigned to a group which has the reservation for the type of blueprint we are trying to provision. Is it possible that the underlying create workflow that we have selected needs some configuration?
