epyc v3000

Hi all,

Is there support of new AMD EPYC series V3000 in VMWARE ESXI 6.7 ?

There are now these models:

AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3251

AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3201

AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3151

AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3101

Here is more info:

https://www.amd.com/en/products/embedded-epyc-3000-series

I would like to have VMWARE ESXI 6.7 or higher working in SuperMicro server with EPYC 3251:

https://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/system/Embedded/AS-5019D-FTN4.cfm

Does anybody knows ????

No, only Epyc 7XX1 series is supported. In the future, look this info up here:  VMware Compatibility Guide - System Search

It's not oficially supported yet, but there are people on internet reporting it works.

Personal opinion: I believe not to support it is nonsense. EPYC V3000 is a direct competitor of Xeon D Series. Supermicro already released a small server with EPYC 3251, called AS-E301. It looks like much better than SYS-E200, which is supported, by the way.
