Hi,

after modified VMware ESXi host FQDN name from ESXi IP address , While accessing VM Console it gives error "Unable to connect to the MKS:Could not connect to pipe \\.\pipe\vmware-authdpipe within retire period".

already trying to shutdown VM , put ESXi host in Maintenance mode, then restated ESXi Host, but after that unable to get VM console.

go thru no of posts related to problem , but not getting prefer solution.

Hi , This is may related to the DNS entry issue

Add the host DNS entry to file c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Host IP address FQDN name already added in that host file.
