I am using the ESXi 4.0 and ESXI 5.1 to run QNX Guest OSs(UNIX like, used in embedded software), There are about 64 VMs running on the server. The server's model is DELL R710 which has about 12 core running 2.5GHz and 16GB memory. How to configure the reserve and limit CPU and memory to get the better performance. Now I reserved about 64MHz for every VM and set the limit for CPU, configured kinds of MEM parameters according to VM's memory usage
Does somebody has the similar experience and give some suggestions.
