  • 1.  VIX for MAC VMware fusion

    Hi,

    I am unable to get VIX library for MAC VMware fusion.

    Can anyone guide me to get VIX libraries to run vmrun utility?

    Hi akash,

    Currently there is no VIX available for OS X or VMware Fusion. However, VMware Fusion does include the vmrun application; you can find it at:

    /Library/Application\ Support/VMware\ Fusion/vmrun

    Hi,

    now, with Fusion 5.0, vmrun is here:

    /Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Library/vmrun

    There is VIX for Fusion 5 and 6. The library is in /Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Public. You could also find perl bindings in there and extra VIX headers you need around in order to compile your app.
