Hi Steve,

I want to know the vm's hypervisor on which it is running using VI Java API.

Is it possible to get this detail.Kindly share this information about the Virtual Machine.

Hi,

You're actually posting in the VIX API forum, not the SDK for Java - , however the SDK for Java forum, even though Steve watches it from time to time it's really the VMware's version of the SDK for Java and not Steve Jin's VI Java which is located here - http://vijava.sourceforge.net/ I would probably post on Steve's site which also has a forum which can be search for previously asked questions.
