Enable firewall ruleset fails

Hi

I have been using this enableruleset to enable iscsi port 3260. After 2 long years of usage it is now giving me the error "Failure due to malformed request to the server "

=================================

=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenc="[http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/]"

xmlns:soapenv="[http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/]"

xmlns:xsd="[http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema]"

xmlns:xsi="[http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance]">

<soapenv:Body>

<soapenv:Fault><faultcode>ServerFaultCode</faultcode><faultstring>Failure due to a malformed request to the server.</faultstring><detail><InvalidRequestFault xmlns="urn:vim2" xsi:type="InvalidRequest"></InvalidRequestFault></detail></soapenv:Fault>

</soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>

=================================

I have gone through most of the documentation to see whats the actual issue.

I have verified the doc kb.vmware.com/kb/1009364 , my VI and VC and ESX are up to date.

Strangely i could see that the method does its task but fails with the above error.

Can someone help me.

Thanks,

Priya.

You might have better luck posting in the vSphere Web Service API forum; this forum is for the VIX API.
