ESXi 4.1 on IBM System x3650

Hi:

    I have a couple IBM System x3650 (Inter Xeon CPU 5130 2.00GHz)that are under utilized and would like to virtualize them using ESXi 4.1 now that it's free.

    Is it possible to setup ESXi 4.1 on x3650(Inter Xeon CPU 5130 2.00GHz)?

    Did anyone successfully perform such setup?

Hi nmghdw,

I have a Lenovo TD100, which is like an IBM x3400 (in fact, ESXi shows an IBM eServer x3400 as the Model) and all I had to do was to upgrade the system BIOS with the latest version. Maybe you also have to upgrade the system BIOS on your servers.
