I am trying to start vpxd service (vmware virtual center seervice) but is is not starting.
Error in the vcenter server system logs;
VMWARE virtual center service terminated with service specific error 2(0x2)
Please suggest ASAP.
The Virtual Center service depends on a running SQL server instance (either local or remote). Can you please verify that the DB is up.
Are there any errors in the event log?
What kind of DB do you use?
