I have a big problem with the backupperformance.
- We are running ESX Server 3i 3.5.0, 176894 with an Windows 2003 R2 SBS guest.
- We have connected a Quantum DLT-V4 over an Adaptec 29320-R to the guest. (same SCSI ID virtual and physical).
- We are running Veritas 12.5 fully patched, latest Drivers from Tandberg, all the latest Bios Revisions.
If compresion is switched of we get only a troughput of 95MB/min, compared with 300MB/min under VMware Server 1.07 and 400MB/min physical.
We have tried out different drivers for the tape, different releases of Veritas (Version 9) different setting of the SCSI adapter LSI/Buslogic all without any effect.
Any kind of help is highly welcome.
