running ESXi 3.5 as a virtual machine inside ESX server 3.5

Hi,

I would like to run ESXi 3.5 as a virtual machine inside ESX server 3.5. does anyone know to go about it?. i have created VM and booted it using ESXi iso but it is stuck at "vmware esx server 3i : vmkernel loaded successfully". Any ideas?

Moved to ESXi forum.

No, it is not possible to run within a VM on ESX. only workstation.

This is only possible on AMD hosts with RVI support. See for instructions on enabling AMD-V with RVI for the ESXi guest.
