Hi all,
i ve been trying to run esxi from usb on a dell poweredge 2950. I have followed these instructions:

I have downloaded the iso (110271 ) which has the time bomb patch in it. When booting it says:
Kernel: vmkernel.gz bootUUID=ec.... Loading vmkernel.gz Module: binmod.tgz Loading binmod.tgz PANIC: Error while reading file: -3, binmod.tgz boot:
Any ideas?

I'll answer my own question:
when writing the image to another usbstick it worked:
the usb stick that works: Sandisk cruzer Micro 1 GB with U3 launchpad removed
