moving a VM from one to another LUN

Here is the environment:

- an ESXi server

- ISCI to a SAN

- the SAN consists of the 3 LUNs (datastores)

- the VM is registered on the LUN#3

- the VM has the first disk on the LUN#3 and the second disk on the LUN#2

- I would like to move the entire content of the VM from the LUN#3 to the LUN#2

- I have no vMotion or vCentre, just the plain ESXi 3.5

Since I am new to this, I have a concern regards to startup the VM after the move and another concern is a possible fragmentation.

I haven't found a similar thread here that covers the same configuration, therefore here I am.

Thank you.

I would do:

- Detach the first disk from the VM

- Remove VM from inventory

- Browse datastores and move all files to lun 2

- Add the VM again on the inventory (right click on VMX file)

- Add the pre-existing first disk again
